IMAGINATION ASYLUM IN UNESCO

BIBIANA’s exhibition Imagination Asylum in Paris presented illustrators who won BIB awards throughout its half-century history and included works by 25 laureates of BIB GRAND PRIX and 28 Slovak illustrators who won BIB awards. The exhibition included also the books with winning illustrations and posters on BIB history. The exhibition was held under the patronage of Irina Bokova, Director General of UNESCO. At the opening on 3 November at 14:00 the following officials presented their remarks (from left): Zuzana Jarošová, Commissioner General of BIB; Vincent de Fourny, Director for External Communication; and Klára Novotná, Ambassador, Permanent Delegate of Slovakia to UNESCO.
