Enter into BIBIANA Library online catalogue
The online catalogue (OPAC) of the BIBIANA Library is based on the information system Virtua and is accessible at the Slovak Library portal.
The online catalogue includes information about all books in the BIBIANA Library collection. The catalogue records include certain additional data such as art techniques used in illustrations, related events and awards (Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava, The Most Beautiful Books of Slovakia, the IBBY Honor List and more).
Our searchig tip:
Searching for information about books in our collections can be done via indexes (if you have the exact term) or via key works, using an extended search. We recommend that less experienced visitors use simple search, entering the search term into the field for quick search, similar to a Google search. The word can be truncated using a star to substitute for an arbitrary number of characters at the end of the word, for example element* sch* (elementary school).
The online catalogue can also be used for public lending outside the library premises (see the Library Code). You are always welcome to study books in the premises of our study room as well.
