IN ANDERSEN’S FOOTSTEPS
Join us in celebrating International Children’s Book Day and the birthday of H. C. Andersen. As part of the workshop, we will travel the world through the stories of H. Ch. Andersen, and together we will create a pocket book. Before visiting BIBIANA, please visit the H. C. Andersen statue at nearby Hviezdoslav Square and discover the secrets hidden within. All children who can answer the three questions by 2 April 2025, from 15:00 to 16:30, will be rewarded with a sweet surprise.
Three questions, three answers.
1. Do you know the name of the country and the town where Hans Christian Andersen, the most famous storyteller of all time, was born?
2. During his travels across Europe in 1841, H. Ch. Andersen visited Bratislava. Do you know what Bratislava was called at that time?
3. Mr. Tibor Bártfay is the author of the statue of H. C. Andersen and the little creatures that keep him company. Can you name at least one?

SILENT WANDERINGS
Barrier-Free BIBIANA. Thanks to the guidance of our staff and creative workshops accompanied by sign language, this project makes BIBIANA events accessible to those with hearing loss. Currently, our visitors can enjoy the Jules Verne-inspired Around the World exhibition and the creative workshops. Regards from Far Away we organise with UNESCO.
THE INCREDIBLE ADVENTURES OF COUNT BEŇOVSKÝ
A creative travel workshop with Martin Kelenberger, a renowned illustrator, based on the book titled “The Incredible Adventures of Count Beňovský”. Just like the most famous adventurer and traveller of the 18th century, Móric Beňovský, discover the continents, oceans, and seas through your travel adventure.
