AROUND THE WORLD: Adventure-filled interactive exhibition 

For children from 5 years

Set off on an adventurous journey!

Inspired by one of Jules Verne’s most famous novels, Around the World in 80 Days, this interactive exhibition will take you on a journey to a world of fantasy and discovery. Just like the book’s main protagonist, Phileas Fogg, visitors must accept a bet and travel the world in 80 days. You will discover different environments that symbolise different places from all over the world:

● the romantic atmosphere of Venice
● a busy bazaar in the Middle East
● a wild African savannah
● mysterious India
● the lush jungle of South America
● the frosty landscape of the Arctic.

In each environment, you must solve interactive tasks and riddles. If you’re successful, you will earn clues for your passport that you need to continue your journey. Those who will successfully solve all the tasks will be rewarded with the treasure of Phileas Fogg!

A unique experience for the whole family

The exhibition introduces an original concept that merges an interactive light exhibition with elements of an escape room and treasure hunt games. The exhibition is the joint work of the DEPO2015 creative team from Pilsen, Czech Republic, and it is the third successful collaboration between the Czech team and BIBIANA. The exhibition educates visitors on global issues thanks to the partnership with UNICEF.

● Workshops for all visitors
Regards from far away – a creative travel workshop with Bruno, the little hedgehog of UNICEF. Each month offers a different country, a different travel experience, and a different life for children. In October, we will visit faraway India, and in November, we will travel to Africa!

Admission times:

● Individual visitors: entry in 15-minute intervals, with a maximum capacity of 10 persons per time slot. On school days, entry may be restricted due to organised school groups.
● Last entry is 60 minutes before the closing hour.
● Duration of exhibition: 60 – 90 minutes.
