VISITOR INFORMATION
The Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava – BIB 2017 – is open for visitors in the premises of the Slovak National Museum from 8 September to 29 October 2017.
Where can you find us?
The building of the Slovak National Museum (SNM) is situated on Vajanského nábrežie (river bank) 2 in Bratislava, between Námestie Ľ. Štúra and Šafárikovo námestie. Public transport stops in both squares are about a 5-minute walking distance from the museum. There are two parking lots, including for buses, in the vicinity of the museum.
What can you see here?
The SNM building in Vajanského nábrežie 2 houses the main exhibition of the competing works, the enrolled illustrations for children’s books, from across the world as well as the BIB 2017 core and accompanying exhibitions (Laura Carlin, Cao Wenxuan, Rotraut Susanne Berner, Svetozár Mydlo, Nami Concours). This is also the venue for workshops, screenings of animated films and other programs for children and the public.
You are invited to also visit other BIB 2017 accompanying events and exhibitions that take place in BIBIANA and other venues outside the Slovak National Museum building.

Standard ticket €2
Discounted ticket (pupils, students, seniors) €1
Family ticket €5
The ticket is valid for all BIB 2017 exhibitions and programs in the SNM building (exhibition of competing illustrations, accompanying exhibitions, programs, workshops and film screening). Tickets for other exhibitions organized by the Slovak National Museum must be bought as a separate SNM tickets.
Access by disabled persons
Upon request the guard service will open the side entrance that has barrier-free access to all exhibitions in the building.
