May 4th, 2016 – The International Festival of Animated Films for Children BAB enriched the CHILDREN’S BOOK DAYS in Bratislava – Petržalka (in the library in Prokofievova Street) with a collection of selected animated films by Slovak filmmakers that were awarded at the BAB Festivals, accompanied by a discussion and workshops.
The children from Tupolevova Street Elementary School (2 groups of third graders) met famous creators of animated films for children, the directors, designers and animators Vladimír Malík
and Boris Šima.
This was an exceptional forenoon, since they painted, learned how animated films are made and gained inspiring experience!
