HOW WE REVIVE WOOD: Exhibition of the puppetry art of Jana and Peter Pilát
Animare silva is Latin and may be translated as “bringing wood back wood to life”. This expression is something that the husband and wife duo Jana and Peter Pilát live by—they founded and crafted a classical puppet theatre to breathe life into hand-crafted wooden marionettes.
Since 2009, they have performed for children and adults aged 1 to 99—to all who remain kids at heart and like tales where goodness wins over evil. The exhibition WE BEING WOOD BACK TO LIFE displays the couple’s most exciting works in the form of wooden puppets, marionettes, and props made with craftsmanship and love.
