ALBERTINE, SWITZERLAND (HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN AWARD FOR ILLUSTRATIONS 2020)
Albertine was born in 1967 in Dardagny, near Geneva. She studied at the École des arts décoratifs and the École supérieure d’art visuel in Geneva. She obtained her diploma in 1990 and opened a screen-printing workshop in the same year. She became a press illustrator a year later and in 1996 she married the writer Germano Zullo.
